What to compare
Discuss the proposed panel gauge, roof slope, underlayment, flashing and fastener specification. The whole assembly determines suitability.
SERVICES / METAL ROOFING
A defined rib profile with visible fasteners.

Exposed-fastener panels give homes and porches a recognizable metal roof appearance. Compare rib spacing, panel finishes and coordinated trim using actual samples.
Discuss the proposed panel gauge, roof slope, underlayment, flashing and fastener specification. The whole assembly determines suitability.
Include a maintenance discussion for screws, sealing washers, laps and penetrations. Compare the full installed scope with concealed-fastener options.
Share your address, a wide photo of the area, any close-up photos you can take from a safe position, and the result you want. Tell us whether you are planning ahead or addressing an active problem.
We can discuss options and arrange an assessment. Confirm any inspection or diagnostic fee when scheduling; an installation estimate and a diagnostic visit can have different scopes.

PROTECTION AFTER INSTALLATION
Our painted metal roof panels carry a 40-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Our unpainted Galvalume metal roof panels carry a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Most installations include our standard 5-year labor warranty. Your proposal identifies the coverage for your installation.
Extended warranties are available with regular inspections and preventive maintenance plans. Ask us about the plan for your project.
Manufacturer and labor warranties cover different aspects of your project. Refer to the written warranties and your proposal for coverage, conditions and exclusions.
PREPARING FOR METAL ROOFING
On a suitable existing roof, metal panels can be installed over shingles. Retaining the shingles can reduce tear-off and disposal costs and keep that material out of the landfill. We first assess the roof deck, existing layers, moisture damage and the selected panel system, and confirm applicable local requirements.

This project shows wood furring strips fitted over the shingles to provide attachment points for screw-fastened metal panels. Strip spacing, fastening and separation layers must suit the selected roofing system.
The new metal roof becomes the outer weather-protection layer. Flashing, transitions and ventilation still need a complete installation plan; existing damage must be addressed before it is covered.
A designed airspace and compatible insulation can improve thermal performance beneath the metal roof. Existing shingles alone do not provide a specified insulation value; discuss the assembly and any added insulation in your proposal.
